The pipe organ is described to be one of the oldest instruments in history, tracked back to the days of Ancient Greece.  Many churches are fortunate to have a real pipe organ.  This is an instrument whose sound comes high pressured wind (air) forced through metal or wooden pipes.  Some organs have thousands of pipes.  Perhaps due to its size and infinite capabilities, Mozart called the pipe organ the King of Instruments.

If you are considering having a wedding or special event in a church or sanctuary, see if they have a pipe organ.  The sound of the organ can be powerful and magical, making any event quite the memory.

The flute and pipe organ make an excellent ensemble; for, the organ is just a bunch of metal and wooden flutes all playing at the same time.  Some people say it is like having 100 flutes playing all at once.
